  1. It just hit me: Who was May on the phone with at the end of the episode (when she said “He knows”)?

    Agent Maria Hill.

Why do I think this? In the pilot, Hill and the doctor were discussing Coulson, and the doc says “He really doesn’t know, does he?” to which Hill replies “He can never know.” Apparently, she knows, and has been concerned about Coulson finding out. It makes sense, then, that Hill would have tasked May to monitor Coulson.

  2. Hello guys. I finally caught up to your latest podcast about the show. I was totally psyched to hear you read one of my comments in the listener feedback. I know. I know. I said I wasn’t going to stick around for listener feedback, but sometimes it’s easier to let the podcast play out while I’m driving.

Last time I posted, I was pretty tough on you guys and I’m glad to hear some improvement in some of the areas I mentioned. I noticed there haven’t been any more long pauses of dead air making me wonder if the podcast suddenly cut out. I did appreciate the under 30 second recap attempt that was made. I am getting annoyed by all the “hot mess” references. I just don’t get why you guys find saying that so much is amusing.

I’d like to share some of my thought concerning previous episodes as they come to my mind. First of all, there is the idea of a Clairvoyant. Based on what I’ve seen in the show and heard on your podcasts, I believe certain things about his/her powers. The Clairvoyant can predict future events, see dreams, and observe memories. We are led to believe that Coulson’s altered memories are blocking the Clairvoyant’s attempts to read his memories. By the way, I would have no trouble believing that one of the reasons his memory was altered was to prevent a psychic attack from yielding any fruit. So, if Coulson is not a good specimen for psychic intrusion, why not access Nick Fury’s memories or Doctor Sheppard’s from the 7th operation. They must know who Nick Fury is and that he knows what happened. He must have memories of other people who would know what he may not and they can be probed. I am having a hard time being convinced that this villain is capable and smart enough to be formidable.

I wanted to mention that I totally love the scene in the train where Simmons is in character saying all those awful things to Coulson about his prostitutes. His reactions were priceless and that made me love her character much more.

Have you guys seen the new show called “The 100”? Am I bugging or is that Agent May on the space station? I also spotted two characters from the ScyFy show “Continuum” on that show. One of you mentioned that you like time travel and generation ships, so you are really missing out if you are not watching Continuum.

Well, that’s all I have to say right now. I’ll keep listening and commenting when i have something to share.

  3. Oh…there is some uncomfortable silence in our next episode. But that is because Ben is freaking me out.

Only one of us finds the prhase hot mess amusing (insert evil laugh here)!
