Well I had a response but I accidentally hit refresh and couldn’t stop it in time.
So in brief, I like SHIELD as it shows Tony as NOT completely self sufficient. He NEEDED them, and I think he knows it in Avengers.
I wish they would have left the Black Widow out. It was distracting. Almost like Spiderman 3. Too much going on. Maybe simply dropped her in the background, but not so much up front time.
The needed a powered female Avenger I thought. I was really hoping for Scarlet Witch or at least the Wasp.
Of course these are all classic versions, free of the idiocy Marvel fell into with their comics in later years (and why I stopped reading).
