What did you think of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD pilot episode, the aptly named “PILOT”?

Wow! I think we can all agree that this was porcupine not poop.
I would give this episode a fairly solid B. It was good, but I felt it would have been better had it been just a little longer. I felt some of the comedic moments went by too fast or fell flat because of the pace. I also felt that some of the themes were brushed over (or not explored very deeply) because of that quick pace.
The most awe-striking part of the episode for me was at the end. When I saw the ‘bullet’ enter Mike’s brain, I was shocked. Then, when they panned over to show Ward with the gun, it took me a moment to realize what had happened. For me, that was the most memorable part of the episode and helped it to it’s ‘B+’ status.
I give this episode a C. I was really hoping for more.
That being said, it was good and I’m hoping for many better episodes.
