I can’t hear Ben on this episode or in episode 4. Am I missing something?
Ben Avery says
No. I’m replacing the files – they were accidentally output in stereo instead of mono! Sorry!

I’m standing by my Magneto prediction and making another one. This one is less certain though. What’s a step below a declaration? A possible hypothetical scenario? Whatever it is, that’s what I’m doing here and I’m doing it publicly with a time stamp so you can see it’s posted before episode 7 airs (since you probably already recorded your show for 6)
I’ve seen people wondering if this will cause mutants to exist. I don’t want that to happen because it’s not really the same as just being born that way. I could accept if they were hiding the whole time and Wanda’s actions somehow revealed them to the world. I’m ok with something like that if they go that route but mutants don’t need an origin story.
However…..
“We need to get into space first to beat the Russians” is an origin that 100% needs an update. So picture this. Monica gets her scientist friend. He wants to see the hex. For whatever contrived reason, his college buddy, fiancée, and future brother in law tag along. At some point they either step inside or get forced inside and you can figure out what happens next. And the reason all the people already inside don’t have powers is because they were already inside and it’s the act of passing the border that makes it happen. Of course this means Darcy got powers but I’m ok with that. And Hayward, but he has future super villain written all over him so I’m ok with that also.
This also means they don’t have to do an FF origin story in the movie. I personally am a fan of origin movies but I know a lot of people aren’t
